Audition for our 2026 American Crossroads Midwinter Revels show

Do you want to be part of the on-stage magic? The California Revels Chorus is an experience like no other. It is time to give it a try! Cast members often return again and again, and cast families make this a generational tradition as they grow together. Yet it is the new members of our chorus that remind us of the fullest joy in creating and sharing the Revels!

We are looking for adult and teen choristers, and for children 7-12. All vocal parts are needed. We hope for a boost in low voices, and for more Young Performers. Our YPs have some great things in store this year. We are seeking dancers, too, for a lively suite of American styles.  You do not need to prepare a song.

Audition Information for Sunday, August 23rd (Second audition date to be added soon)

Children: 10 AM - 12 PM

Adults/YPs (teen) Chorus: 1 PM - 5 PM

Location: FCCO (First Congregational Church of Oakland), 2501 Harrison St, Oakland (Back entrance, down from parking lot)

Join in the song and dance of the United States of America in 1933. Audition to bring your gifts to a truly welcoming cast and crew family as we pass the shortest day of the year together. The Revels company is uniquely warm and close-knit; what happens backstage is often even more celebratory and enriching than the show we put on (a high bar to achieve).
